This Shipping Policy outlines how shipping is handled for purchases made through Next of Kiln Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. What We Ship
At this time, shipping is available for select items only, including:

Finished pottery pieces (where shipping is offered as an option)

In-studio retail merchandise
Most painted and fired pieces are available for shipping, though some size or material limitations may apply.

2. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 3–7 business days once items are ready to ship.
For painted pottery, firing typically takes approximately 7 days. Shipping timelines begin after firing is complete and may vary depending on kiln schedules and studio volume.

You will receive a confirmation or notification once your item is ready or has shipped.
Please note that processing times may vary during busy seasons or due to kiln schedules.

3. Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout or quoted separately based on size, weight, and destination.

All shipping fees are non-refundable.

4. Shipping Locations
We currently ship within Canada only, unless otherwise stated.

5. Packaging & Care
Pottery is fragile by nature. We take great care in packaging items securely; however, we cannot guarantee against damage once items are in transit.

6. Damaged or Lost Shipments
If your item arrives damaged:

Please contact us at info@nextofkilnstudio.com within 48 hours of delivery

Include your order number and clear photos of the damaged item and packaging
While we will do our best to assist, Next of Kiln Studio is not responsible for damage or loss caused by the shipping carrier.

7. Incorrect Shipping Information
Please ensure all shipping details are accurate at checkout. We are not responsible for:

Delays or losses due to incorrect or incomplete addresses

Additional fees incurred due to address changes after shipment

8. Local Pickup
Local pickup may be available at our studio in Sylvan Lake, Alberta. Pickup timelines and notifications will be provided once items are ready.
Items not picked up within a reasonable timeframe may be subject to storage limitations. Please contact us if you need extended pickup arrangements.

9. Returns & Refunds
Due to the handmade and custom nature of pottery items, all sales are final, unless otherwise stated. Please refer to our Returns or Refund Policy (if applicable) for more information.
