Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines how refunds, credits, and exchanges are handled at Next of Kiln Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking a class, purchasing a product, or participating in a studio experience, you agree to the terms below.
1. General Policy
Due to the handmade, experiential, and custom nature of pottery painting, all sales are considered final, except as outlined in this policy.
Where applicable, refunds are issued to the original form of payment. Studio credits have no cash value and are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
2. Classes & Workshops

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.

Due to limited seating and preparation required for each class, all class bookings are non-refundable for no-shows or same-day cancellations.

If you are unable to attend, we ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance. In these cases, and where there is a legitimate reason for cancellation, we may offer a studio credit toward a future class, at our discretion.

Credits are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis. They are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must be used within the timeframe provided at the time of issue.

If Next of Kiln Studio needs to cancel or reschedule a class, guests will always be offered the choice of a full refund, reschedule, or studio credit.
3. Party Packages & Private Events

Party packages require a deposit to secure the booking.

Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

If Next of Kiln Studio must cancel a private event, guests will be offered a reschedule, studio credit, or refund.
4. Studio Painting Sessions

For general in-studio pottery painting, guests pay after painting is complete.

Once a piece has been painted and processed, it is considered custom and not eligible for refund.
5. Pottery Pieces & Firing Guarantee

Due to the nature of ceramics, pieces may occasionally crack, warp, or be damaged during firing.

Firing Guarantee: If a painted piece does not make it through the firing process, we will work to make it right by offering a studio credit or replacement piece, at our discretion.

Colour variations, glaze effects, or minor imperfections are considered normal and are not eligible for refund.
6. Retail Merchandise

Unused, non-custom retail merchandise purchased in-studio may be eligible for exchange or store credit within 30 days, at our discretion.

Custom, painted, or fired pottery pieces are not eligible for return or refund.
7. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value.

Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.
8. Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are non-refundable once an item has shipped.

9. Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations happen. Requests outside of this policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Next of Kiln Studio.
