Homeschool Spring Glazing Class: Wax Resist Mug

Join us for a fun and creative homeschool glazing class where kids will decorate a spring-themed ceramic mug using a wax resist technique. In this class, students will apply wax designs to a pre-made bisque mug and layer glazes over top to reveal patterns once fired. This class focuses on surface design and colour application, making it approachable and engaging for all skill levels—no pottery experience required.

Students will create a functional, food-safe mug featuring playful spring designs such as flowers, patterns, or simple imagery using the wax resist process.

Location: Next of Kiln Studio

Materials Provided: Bisque-fired ceramic mug, wax resist, food-safe glazes, and all necessary tools

Class Size: Limited to 16 children for hands-on instruction and support
